What does the amount due at signing include?
The first month's payment and the $200 negotiable documentary service fee. What is left goes down on the lease and lowers the monthly payment. Tax, title and license are extra, and there is no security deposit. Each card shows its own breakdown.
Why are these payments different from the lease offers on vw.com?
Volkswagen's lease ads are worked out for one example car at an assumed price, often with a different amount due at signing. The payments here are for the exact cars on our lot at our price, with the same amount due at signing on every car, so some come out higher and some lower than an ad.
Can I lease with less due at signing, or more miles a year?
Yes. Volkswagen Financial Services also writes leases at 12,000 and 15,000 miles a year, and you can put more or less down. The payment changes with each choice. Use Get This Deal on a car and we will send you the numbers for the way you want it.
What happens at the end of the lease?
You can return the car or buy it. If you return it, you pay for miles over the allowance, any excess wear and the disposition fee in the car's full terms. If you would rather keep it, we can walk you through the purchase option.
Should I lease or finance a Volkswagen?
A lease usually has the lower monthly payment and puts you in a new car every few years, with a yearly mileage limit. Financing costs more each month, but you own the car when it is paid off and you can drive it as much as you like. See our Volkswagen financing offers to compare.
Do I need good credit to lease?
These payments are for well-qualified lessees on approved credit through Volkswagen Financial Services. With other credit the payment is higher, and some shoppers won't qualify for a lease. You can apply for financing online first if you'd like to know where you stand.
How often do these payments change?
They update from our live inventory. A car comes off this page when our website marks it pending, moves it off the lot or changes its price, and a payment moves when its car's price does. Lease programs change, and each card shows its program's end date.

Every car uses the same amount due at signing and 10,000 miles a year. The number of payments and the end-of-lease charges can differ by car, and each card shows its own.
- One amount due at signing on every car, shown on each card. It covers the first month's payment and the $200 negotiable documentary service fee, and the rest goes down on the lease. Tax, title and license are extra.
- 10,000 miles a year. Each car is shown at the lease term Volkswagen Financial Services offers, from 24 to 48 months, that gives it the lowest payment at that mileage.
- Lease rates from Volkswagen Financial Services for well-qualified lessees, on approved credit. Not everyone will qualify, and with other credit the payment is higher.
- Washington sales tax is added to each monthly payment and to the amount due at signing.
- No security deposit. At lease end you can return the car (mileage over the allowance, excess wear and a disposition fee may apply) or buy it. Each card's full terms show its per-mile charge, disposition fee and purchase option.
