Introducing The New Fully Electric Volkswagen ID.4
After years of teasing Volkswagen enthusiasts in Auburn and beyond with dazzling concept cars, the fully electric Volkswagen ID.4 SUV has arrived and will be available in our lot in March 2021.
Volkswagen’s goal is to provide auto shoppers with a robust lineup of electric vehicles, and the ID.4 is the first step toward a greener ride. Our Auburn dealership near Bellevue,Issaquah and Newcastle is here to tell you more about this exceptional all-electric model.
Volkswagen ID.4 Performance Features
The ID.4 is a brand new nameplate for the Volkswagen brand and is the first in a series of all-electric models that will combine to create the ID sub brand.
The Volkswagen ID.4 is launching with a single-motor rear-wheel drive powertrain while all-wheel drive models will eventually be a part of the ID.4 lineup. The rear motor serves as the ID.4’s primary power source, with the ability to churn out up to 201 horsepower and the optional front motor kicking in another 101 horsepower.
Volkswagen boasts that the ID.4’s battery pack holds enough juice to power the SUV up to 310 miles between charges. This ability rockets the Volkswagen ID.4 to new heights and settle it far above the competition.
Volkswagen ID.4 Interior Features
The Volkswagen ID.4 is expected to offer plenty of cargo space thanks to the advantages of EV packaging that don’t require intrusive elements such as a transmission tunnel. Your passengers will have plenty of room to stretch out and store anything they might need for the journey ahead.
The Volkswagen ID.4 promises innovative technology to enhance your every drive, including Intuitive Start, a 12-inch touchscreen, wireless connectivity and VW Car-Net.
Volkswagen ID.4 Safety Features
The electrified Volkswagen ID.4 offers a host of standard and optional driver-assistance technology such as standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and available adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode. Auto shoppers may even see an autonomous drive mode called ID. Pilot, which relies on laser scanners and sensors to allow the ID.4 to drive itself in traffic.
